TOEFL
(Test of English as a Foreign Language)
The TOEFL is a standardized test designed to assess the English language proficiency of non-native speakers. Administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS) in New Jersey, USA, it is widely recognized by over 4,300 colleges and universities worldwide for admissions to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. Additionally, many organizations and companies use TOEFL scores as proof of English proficiency for job applications.
The TOEFL test evaluates reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills, with a total score of 120. The test is administered monthly, typically 2-3 times, and costs $185.
At Advanced English Centre (AEC), we offer a 32-hour course in boutique groups of up to 5 students, with the option of private lessons available. Our TOEFL course focuses on exam content, question techniques, and intensive practice to identify and address students' weak areas. Classes are conducted both in-person and online, with all materials provided for free by AEC.
IELTS
(The International English Language Testing System)
IELTS is a language test developed by the British Council, University of Cambridge, and International Development Programme of Australian Universities. It is used for admissions to higher education institutions in the UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the USA, as well as for some university exemptions in Turkey. The test is divided into General and Academic modules, with the Academic IELTS being used for higher education. It consists of listening, reading, writing, and speaking sections, and is scored on a scale of 0-9.
At Advanced English Centre (AEC), we offer a 30-hour course in boutique groups of up to 5 students, with private lessons available. Our IELTS course emphasizes exam content, question techniques, and intensive practice to address students' weaknesses. All materials are provided for free by AEC.
GMAT
(Graduate Management Admission Test)
The GMAT is a standardized test used for admissions to graduate business programs, including MBA and doctoral programs, administered by ETS. The test includes quantitative (37 questions), verbal (41 questions), and analytical writing (1 essay) sections, and is conducted on a computer. Scores range from 200 to 800, with top universities typically requiring a score of 600 or higher.

GRE
(Graduate Record Examination)
The GRE is a test required for admission into master's and doctoral programs, particularly in engineering and social sciences, at English-speaking universities in many countries, including the US and Turkey. It is administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS).
The exam consists of two formats: the General Test and the Subject Test.
The GRE General Test is a broad exam that must be taken by all applicants to graduate programs that list the GRE as an admission requirement.
The GRE Subject Test is designed to assess the proficiency of students seeking graduate-level education in eight specific fields of study. Some institutions require the Subject Test to be taken in addition to the General Test.

You can choose between one-on-one or boutique groups of up to 5 students, with the same high-quality instruction provided by Sera Hoca. Prior to starting, we conduct a placement test to tailor the online program to your needs.
